Singapore — OutSystems, an AI-powered low-code development platform, has appointed Muralee Kanagaratnam as regional vice president, partners & alliances for Asia-Pacific (APAC). The appointment is part of the company’s strategy to drive partner-led growth and expand adoption of its platform across key markets, including Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, India, Japan, and Greater China.
With over two decades of experience in building partner ecosystems and working with global technology providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Schneider Electric, and Adobe, Muralee will lead collaboration with Global Systems Integrators, consulting firms, and Systems Integrators across both enterprise and public sectors.
His role also includes advancing technology alliances with major cloud providers.
“We are at an inflexion point in how enterprises across APAC harness AI and low-code,” Muralee commented.
“The synergy of both technologies is democratising transformation, giving organisations a faster, more agile, and secure way to build the systems and agents that will forge the next generation of business.”
The move comes as OutSystems accelerates its regional expansion, supported by rising demand for AI-powered low-code and agentic AI to modernise mission-critical applications, systems, and agents. Partnerships are a central pillar of this growth, enabling the company to scale innovation and broaden its reach across industries.
Mark Weaser, vice president of APAC at OutSystem, shared how the company is excited to welcome Muralee to the APAC leadership team, understanding how strong partnerships are the foundation of creating lasting business impact.
“Muralee’s extensive track record in cultivating and scaling partnerships gives him a unique vantage point to steer our growth within the region’s dynamic economies,” Mark explained.
“His leadership will be pivotal in empowering partners and customers to modernise core systems, speed up the delivery of mission-critical applications, and do so with the governance and security demanded in today’s digital landscape.”
In July 2025, the company expanded its agentic AI portfolio with the Early Access Programme for OutSystems Agent Workbench. Together with Mentor, this initiative is designed to support enterprises in developing and orchestrating custom AI-powered applications and agents on a single platform, enabling them to accelerate innovation and adopt agentic AI at scale.
