Singapore – Navigating the company’s approach towards AI, public relations agency Milk & Honey PR has recently announced the inauguration of its newest artificial intelligence (AI) ethical playbook drawn from the insights of their current PR clients.
For this particular release, the company underscores the importance of responsible AI implementation, addressing the ongoing challenges of technology advancing in individual industries.
Specifically, it discusses critical aspects of transparency, bias detection, human oversight, and education while also serving as a dynamic document adapting to evolving technologies, industry standards, and governmental regulations.
In addition, a survey conducted among current Milk & Honey PR clients showed that an average of 91% indicated the importance of AI as either fairly or extremely important to improve its services. Data privacy and security risks, on the other hand, emerged as the primary concern (83%) about AI implementation, reflecting a mixed sentiment of both enthusiasm and prudent curiosity towards AI.
Speaking about the launch, Meilin Wong, partner and CEO at Milk & Honey Singapore, said, “As an agency, we believe in embracing AI responsibly. The playbook serves as a testament to our commitment to ethical AI integration and as a guide towards human-centric use of AI in the realm of public relations. The Asia-Pacific region is vast and has unique cultural, social, and economic contexts.
“As brand communicators serving local and global clients in Asia, a human-led AI approach is all the more essential in ensuring authentic, trusted, and culturally nuanced messaging,” she ended.
Given the current advances in technology surpassing regulatory measures, the company stands firm in reminding individual industries to assume a proactive role in determining how to harness the potential of AI.
