Singapore – Kollab, a digital transformation firm, has recently announced the acquisition of Senti AI, a pioneering artificial intelligence firm in the Philippines.

Said initiative strengthens the company’s efforts to drive the adoption of AI while also expanding its suite of business solutions.

As part of the move, Kollab will also incorporate the latter’s expertise into its AI and data analytics division to offer solutions like AI strategy, document AI, natural language processing engines, and AI governance.

This division will help local businesses overcome challenges such as ethical concerns, talent gaps, and integration issues.

Speaking about the acquisition, Jonathan Ty, chief commercial officer at Kollab, said, “Artificial intelligence plays a critical role in driving innovation, competitiveness, and market growth for organisations across the region.”

“Our acquisition of Senti AI will enhance our ability to help customers adopt and scale AI initiatives more securely, efficiently, and responsibly,” he added.

In addition, Senti AI’s current CEO, Ralph Vincent Regalado, is set to take on the role of Chief Scientist and Head of AI of the company.

He then remarked, “With this acquisition, we are taking a significant step forward in spreading the word about AI and its benefits to Philippine enterprises. We look forward to working closely with Kollab and reaching out to more clients with their help.”

By prioritising training, privacy, and customised AI tools, Kollab plans to assist sectors such as finance, healthcare, retail, and education in implementing digital transformation strategies and adapting to innovative technologies.
