Infosys and HanesBrands partner to streamline business operations using AI-driven technologies

India — Infosys, a global provider of digital services and consulting, has entered a ten-year strategic alliance with HanesBrands Inc., a global apparel company. Under the agreement, Infosys will support HanesBrands in transforming its digital business applications and data landscape.

As part of the collaboration, Infosys will integrate its Live Enterprise Automation Platform (LEAP) with Infosys Topaz, an AI-first suite of services and platforms. This approach will apply generative AI and AIOps technologies to modernise HanesBrands’ operations, streamline its IT landscape, improve agility, and enhance data-driven decision-making.

Karmesh Vaswani, EVP & global head, consumer retail & logistics at Infosys, shared how the company is honoured to support HanesBrands in becoming a future-ready enterprise.

“With a shared commitment to innovation, we aim to unlock significant business value and elevate customer experiences utilising our Topaz AI and AIOps capabilities, strengthening our LEAP platform,” Karmesh said.

Meanwhile, Scott Pleiman, chief strategy, transformation, analytics and technology officer at HanesBrands, stated the partnership with Infosys stemmed from the company seeking an experienced collaborator with advanced capabilities in AI-driven transformation.

“Infosys’ AI-first approach and proven ability to scale innovation aligns with our long-term vision for agility, efficiency, and customer-centricity,” Scott commented.

The alliance is designed to help HanesBrands achieve greater productivity, reduce complexity, and accelerate its digital transformation agenda.

Some of the key objectives in the partnership include technology optimisation, resource efficiency and building stronger alignment across the organisation, supported by Infosys’ capabilities in retail sector transformation.
