Infor announces leadership changes to expand growth across APJ region

Sydney, Australia – Infor has named Geoff Thomas as senior vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific and Japan, expanding its regional leadership as the company continues to develop its presence across key markets.

Based in Sydney, Geoff will be responsible for overseeing operations in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, Southeast and North Asia, and India, with responsibilities covering customer engagement, partner development and regional growth.

Geoff will focus on strengthening local capabilities, broadening Infor’s partner ecosystem and supporting customers through industry-focused cloud offerings. The appointment reflects Infor’s intention to deepen its engagement with organisations across Asia Pacific and Japan by aligning regional expertise with its sector-specific technology portfolio.

“Infor’s dynamic and fast-growing customers rely on our solutions to make their business more resilient, efficient and innovative,” Geoff commented.

He added, “I am passionate about the APJ market as it represents a huge opportunity to help organisations in the region achieve their strategic goals and unlock real business value through industry-specific innovation.”

Geoff brings extensive experience in managing teams and driving business expansion across the Asia Pacific region. Before joining Infor, he spent six years leading growth initiatives at Qlik in Asia Pacific and Japan. His earlier career includes senior leadership positions at Microsoft, Juniper Networks, Polycom and OneLogin.

“Geoff is an exceptional leader with deep experience in the APJ market, and the ideal person to help our customers in the region thrive,” Wolfgang Kobek, executive vice president and general manager of International Business at Infor, stated.

“His customer-first approach, coupled with his extensive grasp of the APJ business and ecosystem, will help Infor deliver superior value to organisations.”

As part of an early reshaping of the regional leadership structure, Geoff has confirmed two senior appointments. Aidan Brecknell, based in Sydney, is named vice president and managing director for Australia and New Zealand, while Victor Ng, based in Singapore, has taken on an expanded role as vice president and managing director for Southeast and North Asia, covering ASEAN, Greater China and Korea.

Infor operates in more than 200 countries and serves organisations across a range of industries, including food and beverage, automotive, industrial manufacturing and supply chain management.
