Sydney, Australia – Fortinet, a cybersecurity firm, has recently announced the inauguration of its new company-owned Australian headquarters in North Sydney. This strategic move marks its first innovation hub in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to the firm, the latest innovation hub offers in-region sovereign hosting services, secure access service edge (SASE) capabilities, and Level 3 security data classification.

This high-tech data centre further includes features like a secondary data centre on-site dedicated to technical support, offering testing and simulations, as well as an entire facility following sustainability practices.

In terms of capacity, the company noted the new headquarters will accommodate over 200 employees, with room for expansion as Fortinet strengthens its presence in the Australian market.

Talking about the initiative, Vishak Raman, regional sales VP at Fortinet, said, “Fortinet’s investment in Australia underscores its commitment to advancing cybersecurity resilience across the region.”

“With the launch of Fortinet’s first Innovation Hub in the Asia-Pacific region, the company is not only strengthening local capabilities but also enabling enterprises, governments, and Australia’s critical infrastructure operators to drive digital resilience, accelerate innovation, and build a cyber-ready workforce,” he further explained.

The Australian headquarters strengthens local cybersecurity training and workforce development through expanded training facilities, collaborations with academic institutions, and dedicated upskilling programs.

It also underscores the company’s commitment to the Australian market, where business has tripled over the past five years.
