Singapore – Fabric, an omnichannel retail technology firm, has recently unveiled its collaboration with Amazon Web Services to incorporate AI-powered solutions into its omnichannel retail system.
This new alliance seeks to accelerate innovation and decision-making in retail operations, as well as new, innovative AI functions that equip commerce operators with the right tools.
Said partnership further enables the creation of an AI-powered commerce assistant that will assist key retail personnel, including supply chain and merchandising managers. These new updates are projected to streamline order orchestration, fulfilment, and inventory management, driving efficient customer experiences and business growth.
Mike Micucci, chief executive officer at Fabric, commented, “The future of commerce is evolving rapidly, and AI is no longer a futuristic concept. It’s an unlock for retailers to stay competitive in an increasingly dynamic market.”
“Through our expanded partnership with AWS, we are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in commerce. Traditionally, platforms have been limited to supporting merchandising and operations, while strategic decision-making occurred outside of those systems,” he continued.
Micucci further explained, “By integrating an AI-powered assistant into the fabric platform, we’re enabling commerce operators to orchestrate every step of the order process from real-time inventory availability to optimised fulfilment, driving efficiency and better customer outcomes. In today’s market, it’s not enough to keep up. To win, retailers need the power to automate tasks and make smarter, faster decisions that accelerate growth.”
