DXC unveils cloud-native CoreIgnite platform for banking modernisation and fintech integration

Sydney, Australia – DXC Technology has announced the launch of DXC CoreIgnite, a cloud-native revenue orchestration platform designed to help financial institutions connect with fintech ecosystems, manage financial workflows, and develop new revenue-generating services while continuing to operate on existing core banking systems.

According to DXC, the platform is designed to work across both its proprietary Hogan core banking platform and non-Hogan environments, allowing banks to modernise incrementally without replacing existing infrastructure. Through prebuilt integrations and orchestration capabilities, CoreIgnite provides access to payment networks, digital asset ecosystems, embedded finance services, and fintech partners including Ripple, Splitit, and ArcOne.

The company said the platform addresses challenges faced by financial institutions as the industry adopts embedded finance, digital assets, and real-time payment technologies. Many banks continue to face difficulties related to legacy systems, fragmented integrations, and the costs associated with modernisation efforts.

CoreIgnite serves as a single orchestration layer that enables financial institutions to connect, manage, and scale fintech services without replacing their core banking platforms. DXC said its composable architecture and real-time execution model are intended to reduce integration complexity, shorten deployment timelines, and support the introduction of new services.

The platform is designed to support a range of use cases, including embedded finance, buy now, pay later (BNPL) services, digital assets and stablecoin-enabled offerings, and payment orchestration across ACH, RTP, wire, and card networks.

Commenting on the launch, Sandeep Bhanote, Global Head and General Manager of GrowthX at DXC Technology, said, “CoreIgnite provides fintech infrastructure for financial institutions looking to innovate faster, scale more flexibly, and compete more effectively in the digital banking economy. With our secure, composable, API-first platform, banks can connect new capabilities, orchestrate financial workflows, and activate digital financial services without disrupting the core systems they rely on every day. By decoupling innovation from the core, institutions can reduce integration complexity, move faster, and unlock new revenue opportunities at scale.”

DXC said CoreIgnite is intended to streamline access to fintech services across areas such as onboarding, eligibility management, payments, and partner integration. The platform allows institutions to add or modify capabilities as business requirements change, which the company said can help reduce operational complexity and accelerate time to market.

The launch builds on DXC Hogan, the company’s core banking platform, which powers more than 300 million deposit accounts and manages over US$5 trillion in deposits globally. CoreIgnite is part of DXC GrowthX, the company’s business unit focused on developing industry-specific software, platforms, and solutions aimed at supporting digital transformation and growth initiatives across sectors.
