Databricks appoints Corrie Briscoe as VP of Partnerships and Alliances for APJ

Singapore – Databricks has appointed Corrie Briscoe as Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), as the data and AI company looks to expand its partner ecosystem and support enterprise AI adoption across the region.

Based in Singapore, Briscoe will oversee Databricks’ partnerships with cloud providers, global and regional systems integrators, independent software vendors (ISVs) and technology partners. Her remit will include helping organisations scale data and AI applications, analytics and AI agents, including Databricks’ Genie and Lakebase offerings.

Briscoe brings 30 years of experience in developing partner ecosystems across Asia Pacific. She joins Databricks from Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she led the APJ Partner Core organisation and was responsible for partner programmes, strategic investments and go-to-market initiatives.

Before AWS, Briscoe held leadership positions at Microsoft and Cisco, where she worked on regional partner strategy and ecosystem development.

Her appointment comes as organisations across APJ increase investments in agentic AI. Databricks said the region faces challenges including fragmented data environments, a shortage of AI-ready talent, and the need for governance and controls to support AI deployment across different industries and regulatory environments.

The company has also recently introduced the Brickbuilder Partner Network (BPN), a global programme designed to reward partners for turning complex implementations into business outcomes.

Databricks said it currently works with more than 8,000 partners globally, including over 1,000 across APJ. The company said the ecosystem is focused on helping customers build, deploy and scale data and AI applications as enterprise AI adoption grows.

“Enterprise AI is no longer just about choosing the best model. It’s about giving that model the right enterprise context through a unified, governed platform, and that value is created together by Databricks and our partners,” said Kori O’Brien, Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships, Databricks. “Corrie’s leadership will be instrumental as we continue to invest in our ecosystem and help partners create the next generation of AI solutions across the region. She brings an exceptional track record of helping partners build successful technology businesses and create greater customer impact.”

“APJ is home to one of the world’s most dynamic AI markets, spanning different industries, regulatory environments and stages of AI maturity, making strong local partner expertise more important than ever,” said Corrie Briscoe, Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances at APJ. “I am excited to join Databricks at such a crucial moment and work alongside our valued partners. Together, we can help customers deploy AI with confidence, advance innovation and deliver lasting business value.”
