CTF Life, AlipayHK to enable in-app insurance premium payments for Hong Kong customers

Hong Kong – CTF Life has partnered with AlipayHK to introduce AlipayHK as a premium payment option within its mobile application, marking the first time a Hong Kong life insurer has integrated the digital wallet for in-app premium settlements.

The collaboration is designed to simplify the payment journey for customers while improving service efficiency through a more seamless digital experience.

Through the integration, policyholders can complete premium payments directly within the CTF Life app using AlipayHK without repeatedly entering card or bank account information. The streamlined process reduces administrative steps and waiting time, making it easier for customers to manage their policies through a familiar and widely used payment platform.

“AlipayHK has a large base of active users in Hong Kong, and this collaboration fully leverages our synergies to provide customers with a more convenient, efficient, secure, and lifestyle-oriented payment experience,” Man Kit Ip, executive director and chief executive officer of CTF Life, stated.

“Moving forward, we will continue to create value beyond insurance by embracing innovative technologies and cross-sector collaborations to offer comprehensive support for customers at every stage of life.”

The partnership forms part of CTF Life’s broader digital development strategy, which aims to respond to growing customer expectations for flexible and accessible financial services. AlipayHK will be progressively introduced as a payment method for both new policy applications and renewal premiums, supporting end-to-end digital processing and reducing reliance on paper-based procedures.

“The partnership with CTF Life addresses users’ increasing wealth management needs by leveraging digital payment solutions to reshape the insurance application process, enabling users to manage and allocate their assets more efficiently,” Venetia Lee, CEO of AlipayHK, commented.

“AlipayHK is committed to collaborating with financial institutions to build a digital ecosystem, drive the digital upgrade of Hong Kong’s financial sector, and deliver more inclusive financial services to more citizens.”

By combining CTF Life’s insurance services with AlipayHK’s extensive user base and digital payment capabilities, the collaboration extends practical benefits beyond traditional insurance coverage. Customers gain greater convenience and flexibility in managing payments, while also benefiting from secure and efficient transaction processes embedded within everyday digital habits.

With the addition of AlipayHK, the app now offers a broader range of payment options, reflecting closer cooperation between the insurance and fintech sectors. CTF Life plans to continue leveraging partnerships and group resources to deliver lifestyle-oriented insurance services that support customers across different stages of life.
