SaaS platform Innoviti names Sandeep Mina as new chief business officer

Bengaluru, India – Innoviti Technologies, a payments-centric retail SaaS platform, has announced Sandeep Mina as chief business officer for its retail division, assigning him oversight of the company’s Genie and Link product lines. He will be based in Bengaluru.

Sandeep will also be responsible for the company’s commercial performance, national retail development, and partner engagement.

“I’m excited to join Innoviti’s leadership team to scale our unique high-margin software-centric payments business model to unlock newer forms of value for merchants and consumers in India’s fast-changing retail landscape,” Sandeep shared.

He added, “Innoviti has built a reputation for trust, innovation, and excellence at scale in the payments space, with a deep customer obsession in every aspect of business strategy design.”

Prior to joining Innoviti, Sandeep held senior roles across consumer-focused companies for more than two decades, including positions at Swiggy, Dukaan, Hotstar/Star India, Coca-Cola, and Marico.

He also served as the chief executive of Shecommerz, a distribution firm working with banks, multinational companies, and major retailers.

Rajeev Agrawal, founder & CEO of Innoviti, shared that Sandeep’s background and appointment come at a pivotal time for the company.

“Sandeep brings a rare combination of strategic and execution muscle at a time when Innoviti’s core business has turned cash flow positive, and the new businesses of Genie and Link are growing fast,” Rajeev stated.

He added, “His experience in scaling complex commercial engines will help us accelerate expansion while staying sharply focused on profitable, high-quality growth.”

Innoviti’s genie software, introduced in 2021, supports local mobile retailers in improving sales and margins and currently contributes over half of the company’s revenue.

The link payment application, launched in early 2024, is used by thousands of merchants to receive remote digital payments and has been rapidly expanding among high-value transaction businesses.

The company expects Sandeep’s appointment to help advance both products, particularly in smaller urban centres across Tier-2 to Tier-4 markets. Innoviti is strengthening its leadership team as it aims for continued expansion and prepares for a potential future exit.
