Singapore – Cisco has announced the general availability of Splunk Observability Cloud in Singapore through the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Asia Pacific (Singapore) region, following an early access period that began in August 2025.
The launch aims to support organisations facing growing operational demands as they seek to strengthen innovation, reliability, and digital resilience.
Splunk Observability Cloud provides engineering and IT operations teams with unified visibility across environments, enabling real-time insights into the performance and health of applications, services, and infrastructure.
Built on an OpenTelemetry-native platform, the solution integrates metrics, traces, and logs to help organisations manage systems efficiently, maintain critical operations, and scale securely.
Robert Pizzari, group vice president of Asia at Splunk, explained that having the ability to proactively monitor systems and resolve issues quickly is key to sustaining innovation and customer trust in fast-moving markets.
“By using Splunk Observability Cloud, teams can ensure critical services remain resilient, performant, and compliant with emerging national standards, while shifting the focus to prioritising what matters to the business and driving strategic initiatives,” Robert commented.
The launch aligns with Singapore’s updated Smart Nation policy and the forthcoming Digital Infrastructure Act, which highlight the importance of resilient and secure digital systems.
By hosting Splunk Observability Cloud locally on AWS, enterprises can address in-country data retention requirements and regulatory priorities, particularly in sectors such as banking, transport, and telecommunications, where system availability and compliance are essential.
Research from Splunk indicates that Singapore leads the Asia Pacific region in digital product and service launches, but faces challenges such as operational strain and workforce burnout.
The availability of Splunk Observability Cloud in the AWS Singapore region is designed to address these pressures by providing real-time insights across infrastructure, applications, and user activity, while also supporting cost efficiency through optimised data usage.
“As data volume surges, organisations in Singapore need tools to innovate securely and at scale,” Christine Low, head of observability APJC at Splunk, stated.
“The availability of Splunk Observability Cloud on AWS gives teams the ability to manage their applications in real time, keep data in-country, and use simplified pricing to tackle growing data volume efficiency.”
The collaboration builds on more than a decade of partnership between Splunk and AWS, giving enterprises access to expanded data management capabilities with on-demand querying and improved scalability.
AWS Regions, including Singapore, are designed with multiple Availability Zones to provide low-latency performance, redundancy, and business continuity.
Cisco’s observability portfolio spans Splunk Observability Cloud, Splunk IT Service Intelligence, and Splunk AppDynamics, supporting organisations across the Asia Pacific in strengthening the resilience and performance of digital operations.
