Singapore – Circles, a global tech company, has announced that it has recently appointed Kannan Alagappan as its new chief technology officer.
For this new role, Kannan brings an extensive tech background and leadership, having recently served as the chief technology officer at Dish Network in the United States.
In this previous position, he was responsible for overseeing support for 10 million customers and contributed to US$12b in revenue.
His career also spans positions at Fortune 500 companies, including Comcast and T-Mobile, where he served as a technology consultant, spearheading digital transformation and strategic initiatives.
Speaking about Kannan’s appointment, Rameez Ansar, CEO and co-founder at Circles, shared, “We are excited to welcome Kannan to the Circles executive team. His proven leadership and deep understanding of technology and telco will be invaluable as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the industry.”
