Hong Kong – Axis Communications has opened a new office and an advanced Axis Experience Centre (AEC) in Hong Kong, furthering its commitment to innovation, security, and smart technology across the Asia region.
The development represents a key stage in the company’s global expansion, joining a network of flagship centres in locations such as Singapore, New York, London, and Sweden.
Situated in Kowloon Bay, the Hong Kong AEC has been established as an interactive environment where government bodies, businesses, and industry stakeholders can engage with Axis technologies. The centre provides hands-on access to solutions integrating video, audio, access control, and intercom systems with AI, IoT connectivity, and automation, supporting complex security and operational needs in modern cities and organisations.

Visitors to the centre can experience demonstrations of AI-powered analytics for monitoring people flow, process compliance, and incident detection. The space also showcases seamless integration across video, audio, access control, and automation systems, advanced imaging and sensing technologies, including radar, thermal, and environmental monitoring, smart door entry platforms, and dedicated areas for practical training and collaborative workshops.
The Hong Kong AEC is intended to serve as a hub for knowledge sharing, co-development, and exploration of emerging technologies, supporting industries such as cities, critical infrastructure, data centres, transportation, and hospitality.
By offering a dedicated space for demonstrations and collaboration, the centre aims to accelerate the regional adoption of intelligent solutions.
