Singapore – Anaplan has introduced a new Amazon Web Services facility in Singapore as part of its ongoing investment in global cloud infrastructure. The addition is intended to strengthen the company’s presence in Southeast Asia and broaden access to advanced planning and analytics tools powered by AI.
The Singapore-based deployment is expected to improve system responsiveness, strengthen information security controls and support compliance with domestic regulatory requirements. The ability to store and process data within Singapore addresses data residency obligations that are particularly relevant to sectors such as financial services and the public sector.
Through the expanded infrastructure, organisations in the region will be able to use Anaplan’s planning platform to support real-time analysis and integrated business planning across finance, workforce management, sales and supply chains.
“We are delighted to bring the Anaplan platform, including our new suite of role-based AI agents, to Singapore and the broader Southeast Asia region,” Amit Bagga, managing director of APAC at Anaplan, commented.
“Data sovereignty is a stringent requirement for our clients, and our new location ensures that their data remains within Singapore, adhering to local regulations.”
The platform incorporates machine learning capabilities designed to enhance forecasting accuracy and enable more timely, data-informed decision-making. By operating within a locally hosted environment, companies can align with national data governance standards while maintaining operational flexibility.
“The launch of Anaplan on AWS in Singapore represents a strategic milestone and reinforces our shared commitment to customers across Asia-Pacific,” Carol Potts, general manager for North America ISV sales at AWS, shared.
The Singapore launch forms part of Anaplan’s broader investment programme aimed at extending its global footprint and advancing AI-enabled planning solutions.
Anaplan has also established additional infrastructure capacity across the APAC region, including in India, Indonesia and Australia, as it continues to expand support for enterprises seeking secure and scalable cloud-based planning systems.
