Singapore – Smart Communications, a global provider of cloud-based customer communications solutions for highly regulated industries, has expanded its investment in Singapore and the APAC region by establishing a new data centre powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The facility enhances the company’s SaaS operations and enables local access to its Conversation Cloud platform for the first time, providing enterprise customers with increased data sovereignty and regional support.
The new infrastructure strengthens Smart Communications’ capacity to work with government agencies and financial institutions across Singapore and the wider region, supporting secure, compliant and scalable customer communication processes.
“Singapore sets the standard for digital engagement, and its citizens expect interactions that are instant, intuitive, and connected,” Nick Smith, general manager of APAC at Smart Communications, stated.
He added, “We’re empowering organisations to deliver the kind of intelligent, two-way digital conversations that meet these expectations, while ensuring data sovereignty, compliance, and world-class of performance.”
The new data centre enables organisations to collect data, tailor content, and manage interactions across multiple channels while adhering to strict regulatory requirements.
Through the Conversation Cloud, organisations can modernise traditional data collection methods by replacing manual and static forms with guided digital interactions. It also allows real-time, personalised communication at scale and supports consistent engagement across channels to enhance the overall customer experience.
Conversation Cloud also integrates with more than 30 enterprise systems, including Salesforce, Pega and Guidewire, to eliminate data silos and improve operational efficiency. It also employs responsible AI to optimise how enterprises design and deliver communications within compliance frameworks, ensuring transparency, auditability and governance.
The Singapore data centre follows the introduction of SmartHUB and SmartPATH earlier this year, along with growing regional adoption of SmartCOMM and SmartIQ.
This latest investment underscores Smart Communications’ commitment to accelerating digital transformation and enabling enterprises across APAC to deliver secure, intelligent and trusted customer interactions.
