Malaysia — Teleport, a Southeast Asian eCommerce logistics provider, has partnered with Shipsy, a transportation management system specialist, to integrate an AI-powered last-mile solution into the Teleport Network. The collaboration enhances shipment visibility and supports more accurate deliveries across Southeast Asia.
The integration introduces advanced features such as intelligent sorting and routing, fleet allocation, and real-time parcel tracking.
These enhancements streamline operations by enabling faster driver deployment, reducing routing errors, and ensuring more cost-effective and reliable deliveries.
Milan Dhingra, chief product and technology officer at Teleport, explained that operating in Southeast Asia requires fast, cheap, and enhanced logistics.
“This demands a more efficient technology stack, which allows us to be resilient, adapt to real-time volume changes, and scale without the need to increase manual effort,” Milan explained.
The integration addresses one of the region’s key logistics challenges: the lack of reliable, real-time parcel tracking, which has long been a source of frustration for consumers.
Industry studies indicate that advanced tracking systems can improve delivery times by as much as 20%, a critical factor in the growing e-commerce sector where punctuality and transparency have become baseline expectations.

A pilot project in Singapore demonstrated the benefits of automation, saving Teleport’s operations team an estimated five hours of manual work each week. Following the success of this pilot, the system has been deployed across Teleport’s last-mile operations in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Teleport plans to expand the integration to first-mile operations across its regional markets, excluding China, to deliver consistent accuracy and efficiency throughout the supply chain.
