Singapore — SentinelOne has introduced ‘Managed AI Defence’ with Pax8, a new service designed to give small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) access to the same AI-powered protection used by larger enterprises.
The solution addresses the growing cybersecurity challenges faced by smaller organisations, delivering enterprise-grade prevention, detection and response in a simple package with per-endpoint pricing.
It combines SentinelOne’s endpoint detection and response (EDR) with its Purple AI analyst, managed threat hunting and vulnerability management, with optional add-ons such as managed detection and response (MDR), remote forensics and identity threat detection and response (ITDR).
Licensing has been simplified through a per-endpoint model, enabling managed service providers (MSPs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs) to streamline deployment, billing and pricing, while improving return on investment for customers.
Tracy Ryan, AVP, global MSSP/MSP at SentinelOne, shared how attackers target all companies, small and large, which brings the need greater accessibility for world-class security.
“This launch means that every business, no matter how big or small, can harness the power of AI to protect what matters the most,” Tracy said.
“Together with Pax8, we’re helping MSPs and MSSPs deliver real security outcomes for SMBs who deserve the same peace of mind as enterprise giants.”
Managed AI Defence will launch initially through Pax8, with availability expanding to other aggregators and Master MSPs in the coming months.
The service is designed for straightforward adoption and scale, providing centralised marketplace access for deployment, billing and onboarding. It also offers flexible add-ons to tailor protection to customer requirements, while ensuring no disruption to existing Pax8 customer deployments.
Oguo Atuanya, vice president of vendor experience at Pax8, commented that both companies are on a mission to empower companies with solutions that deliver real security outcomes.
“SMBs deserve the same level of protection and trust by Fortune 500 companies. Now we can provide exactly that with minimal complexity, and more opportunities to grow our partners’ businesses,” Oguo stated.
SentinelOne is recognised for its AI-powered cyber security platform, built on a unified data lake and widely used by global enterprises and public sector organisations. Its technology is designed to deliver autonomous, data-driven security solutions that help reduce risk and complexity across diverse IT environments.
