Singapore – Genesys, a global cloud company, has announced that it has recently appointed Albert Nel as the new senior vice president and regional sales leader for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
In this new role, Nel is set to lead the company’s APAC operations, including its go-to-market strategies, customer relationships, and sales team.
He brings with him more than two decades of experience in global technology, with competitive and complex environments expertise in particular. Nel also boasts comprehensive technology industry knowledge and a proven track record of driving growth through strategic leadership, sales execution, and team enablement with a customer-focused approach.
Leveraging his expertise in B2B sales for public and private sector enterprises in APAC, Japan, the U.S., and Africa, Nel will further help accelerate the company’s continued expansion on both a regional and global scale.
Before joining the company, Nel also became the senior vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific and Japan of Contentsquare. This role enabled him to scale the business as well as expand into new markets and foster growth in both team size and revenue.
Nel has also held senior sales leadership roles at global technology brands including OpenText, Dell EMC, and Sybase.
