Singapore – Global cybersecurity firm Netskope has recently introduced new innovations in the firm’s One Platform, which combines key network and security capabilities.
These new solutions offer expanded digital experience management features, signifying its dedication to improving the efficiency of enterprise network infrastructure, operations, and security teams. At the same time, they also enable the entire organisation to optimise user experience, safeguard critical data, and reduce risk, cost, and complexity.
As part of the advancements, Netskope has unveiled a Proactive Digital Experience Management Enterprise, providing advanced insight and analytics for security, network, and IT operations teams with a 360-degree view of network performance and experience, accounting for end-to-end visibility from user to applications. This can be done by monitoring traffic and services across the entire traffic path, including the SASE platform.
It also offers granular telemetry and flexible monitoring with true user experience management capabilities at both the user and site level, empowering the business objectives of midmarket to large enterprises.
This newly added DEM solution uses AI/ML-driven network performance diagnostics to help reduce operational costs by providing faster time-to-resolution when troubleshooting, ensuring organisations maintain optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Another significant addition to the platform is the ability to bring traffic visibility to a secure service edge. Through the firm’s new packet capture tool, Netskope Cloud TAP, it would now be easier to capture packets in the Netskope private cloud environment. This capability further extends to feeding them to advanced security tools such as Network Detection & Response or Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) for analysis.
The new packet capture solution is equipped with partner integrations, including from ExtraHop and others to support advanced evasive threat detection, application performance monitoring, help desk troubleshooting, and user experience, plus support for major compliance regulations including PCI DSS, HIPAA, and NIST SP 800-53.
Strengthening these suites of solutions, Netskope’s newly expanded cloud risk exchange delivers a consolidated business rule framework for continuously identifying and policing risk signals across Netskope SSE and through newly added integrations from Netskope partners including CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Okta, and Wiz.
With this new solution, customers can automate and normalise the exchange of risk signals for the right users, devices, applications, and workloads to the right destinations, effectively minimising their attack surface while enhancing data protection.
Krishna Narayanaswamy, co-founder and CTO at Netskope, said, “Ongoing innovation and meeting our customers where they are in their cloud transformation and SASE architecture journeys remains core to Netskope’s overall charter.”
“As a market leader, Netskope enables both network infrastructure and operations (I&O) and security teams to optimise connectivity while reducing risk, cost, and complexity. Combining SSE and SD-WAN across the Netskope NewEdge infrastructure, the Netskope One platform is the SASE offering that can deliver these capabilities using one engine, one client, one gateway, and one network,” added Narayanaswamy.
