Wellington, New Zealand – Fusion5, a business services and IT solutions provider, has recently unveiled its acquisition of IT services and consulting firm IntegrationWorks with the goal of expanding its capabilities.
This integration will officially be effective on August 1, with plans to extend their business reach across Australia and further penetrate into the UK market in the future.
Meanwhile, it will also provide the IntegrationWorks team with broader exposure to various technologies and larger projects.
Sven Martin, chief executive at Fusion5, said, “IntegrationWorks has significant skills, expertise, and referenceability over a wide range of integration solutions and technologies. The acquisition will see the addition of 80 highly skilled integration consultants to our existing Integration and Innovation pillar and bolster our ability to compete and deliver customer projects even more effectively in this space.”
“By merging IntegrationWorks into Fusion5, we see huge potential to extend our business reach across Australia and, in the long term, make further inroads into the UK market,” he added.
Grant McKeen, founder and CTO at IntegrationWorks, also said, “As an independent pillar within Fusion5, we can do more. Our customers will be exposed to a raft of new opportunities and services, with access to Fusion5’s significant PMO (project management office) and support team, as well as a broad range of business solutions they’d normally need to go elsewhere for.”
Also speaking about it, Ian Richards, managing director for Australia at IntegrationWorks, said, “Best of all, due to their wide coverage in New Zealand and Australia, Fusion5’s customer services are all delivered locally.”
