Singapore – Aiming to assist enterprises in their business functions, the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore has recently announced the launch of its latest integrated digital solutions in the retail and security sectors. This strategic move empowers small and medium enterprises to merge various business functions as well as allow seamless information flow across their operations.

In this launch, the organisation unveiled a collaboration with Enterprise Singapore and the Ministry of Home Affairs, introducing two categories. These categories include omnichannel retail management (OCRM) for retailers and integrated security management (ISM) for security agencies.

With the new OCRM solutions, retailers can now provide a seamless customer experience across various engagement touchpoints, particularly in physical retail outlets, e-marketplaces, and online channels. Additionally, they can incorporate operations across back-end functions like inventory management and customer relationship management.

On the other hand, small and medium-sized security agencies can adopt ISM solutions to enhance their operational capabilities and expand their service offerings beyond traditional security guard operations.

Talking about the new solutions, Jeannie Lim, assistant managing director of services and growth enterprises at EnterpriseSG, noted, “The support for OCRM solutions will help retailers navigate these demands and streamline operations by providing a consolidated view of critical aspects like inventory and customer relationship management.”

Harris Rusdi Chai, director of the security policy directorate and joint operations group at MHA, further said, “There has been growing interest by the security industry to move towards a more streamlined and integrated model of operations, and the ISM provides a ready solution to do so.”
