Philippines – Cybersecurity firm Keeper Security has recently announced that it has partnered with cybersecurity solutions distributor Shield Core Technologies, aiming to bolster the security posture and address the compliance requirements in the Philippine market.

In this collaboration, Shield Core will serve as the authorised distributor of Keeper’s cybersecurity portfolio to meet the increasing demand for cybersecurity solutions among all businesses in the country.

Keeper’s flagship product lineup features Privilege Access Management, providing enterprise-level password, secret, and privilege connection management through a unified SaaS platform.

This system allows for least-privileged access with zero-trust and zero-knowledge security, enabling organisations to achieve comprehensive visibility, security, control, and reporting across all privileged users and devices within their organisation.

Furthermore, the company also offers both consumer and business offerings in terms of passwords, secrets, and privileged connection management. Additionally, differentiators like dark web monitoring, secure file storage, single sign-on integration, compliance reporting, and detailed event logs are also among their offerings.

Talking about the collaboration, Darren Guccione, CEO and co-founder of Keeper Security, said, “Keeper Security has experienced record business growth, with the Asia-Pacific region contributing to that success since our launch in the market in May 2023. Outside of Japan, where we are headquartered, the Philippines is one of the most vibrant economies in Asia that we are very much invested in growing.”

“With the foreseeable rise in cloud adoption, AI becoming even more ubiquitous, and companies having to comply with more stringent requirements, we anticipate a brisk uptake in privileged access management solutions among Philippines-based businesses,” he added.

Jasper Franco, president at Shield Core Technologies, also shared, “With Philippine organisations’ desire for enhanced security posture and overall resilience, we look forward to playing an essential role in providing them the tools they need to bolster their security.”

Meanwhile, Kaz Kuroda, head of Asia-Pacific sales at Keeper Security APAC KK, commented, “Together with Shield Core, Keeper Security will help more of the Philippines’ fast-growing companies effectively address password security challenges and provide them with the advanced tools they need to protect their digital assets.”

“Ultimately, we want to enable Philippine companies to enhance their security posture, minimise potential damage when cyber attacks happen, and more efficiently meet compliance requirements,” concluded Kaz.
