Singapore – Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and F5 have launched an enterprise AI platform designed to help businesses access, deploy and manage artificial intelligence models through a single interface.
The Indosat Intelligence Suite brings together more than 300 open and closed AI models, including Sahabat-AI, models hosted by Indosat and connected global models. The platform is intended to help organisations manage AI consumption, control costs and apply security and governance measures as they move AI applications into production.
The launch comes as businesses across Southeast Asia expand their use of AI beyond experimentation, with organisations facing challenges in balancing performance, cost, security and regulatory requirements across different workloads.
The platform builds on Indosat’s AI infrastructure in Indonesia, which spans energy, data centres, computing, connectivity and AI models. Through the partnership, F5 provides technology for managing and securing AI workloads across the platform.
Businesses can use the interface to select models for different tasks, with built-in routing that accounts for cost, quality, and latency. The platform also converts token consumption into credits that organisations can allocate across models, applications, and teams, giving them a consolidated view of usage and spending.
F5 BIG-IP Next for Kubernetes supports tenant isolation and container security, while GPU-aware load balancing is designed to improve response times and token throughput.
“As AI moves from experimentation into everyday business, companies need more than access to models; they need a trusted way to put intelligence into production,” said Vikram Sinha, President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.
“With the full stack AI as the foundation, Indosat Intelligence Suite will become an intelligence factory for businesses, helping businesses access the right intelligence for their needs and scale it securely across the region,” Sinha continued.
“Indosat is building the region’s AI future, and F5 is proud to secure and optimise it. Together, we are making advanced AI accessible and safe for every business,” said François Locoh-Donou, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer at F5.
“Indosat Intelligence Suite addresses this through one governed layer between enterprise applications and the AI infrastructure underneath. Businesses can access, route, measure and manage AI consumption across multiple models without having to build and manage every underlying layer themselves,” Locoh-Donou continued.
The platform offers three access options: Pay as You Go, Unified Enterprise Credit and Dedicated Capacity. These are intended to accommodate different usage requirements, from developers and smaller businesses to large enterprises and public-sector organisations.
For businesses with data residency requirements, Sahabat-AI and Indosat-hosted models can process workloads within Indonesia, while policies govern which requests may be routed to global models. Requests can also be authenticated, measured and logged through an auditable ledger.
The platform incorporates F5 AI Security capabilities designed to address risks including large language model vulnerabilities, data leakage and other AI-specific threats.
“Enterprises are hitting a wall trying to move AI from pilot to production because they need to balance rapid innovation with sovereignty, governance and cost predictability,” said Chad Whalen, Chief Revenue Officer at F5.
“By bringing together Indosat’s platform and in-market reach with F5’s experience in securing AI workloads and APIs at scale, we can help enterprises across region consume intelligence that is trusted, secure and optimised for what each of them actually needs,” Whalen continued.
The companies are targeting 50 businesses and organisations at launch. The platform is available through Indosat’s website, where prospective customers can review its model catalogue, pricing and documentation and request access.
