Shanghai, China – Huawei has launched its Fintelligent AI Solution worldwide, introducing a framework designed to help financial institutions deploy and manage AI systems at scale.
Huawei made the announcement at its Global Finance Summit, where Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance BU, delivered a keynote. The solution is built on the open-source agent platform openJiuwen and open computing infrastructure.
Huawei said the solution addresses challenges associated with large-scale AI deployment in financial services, including security, scalability and sustainability. It is organised around three components: Agent Factory, Token Factory and Data-Knowledge Factory, which are intended to connect data, knowledge, tokens and AI agent capabilities.
Three components support enterprise AI deployment
The Agent Factory is designed to help banks build, operate and manage AI agents at scale, moving AI capabilities beyond isolated applications towards wider enterprise use. It also supports the accumulation, reuse and centralised management of agent assets.
At its foundation is openJiuwen, an open-source agent platform designed to support multi-agent collaboration and enterprise operations. Huawei said the platform provides stable long-running operation, financial-grade components, and integrated development and operations capabilities, allowing institutions to build, run, manage and govern agents within a common environment.
The Token Factory includes TokeNexus, a solution Huawei launched for managing the full token lifecycle. Its functions cover planning, production, scheduling and global optimisation. The company said the system is intended to help financial institutions expand AI use while managing costs, performance and supply.
The Data-Knowledge Factory is designed to turn banks’ data, documents and rules into knowledge that AI agents can use. Huawei said the approach would help institutions accumulate domain-specific knowledge as an internal capability.
Data and legacy modernisation
Huawei also launched its Financial Agentic Data Solution at the summit. The offering centres on data and knowledge pipelines intended to supply financial agents with high-quality information and support the flow of data and knowledge to those agents.
The company’s AI Coding Solution uses an ontology-centric approach to convert business rules embedded in legacy-system code into reusable knowledge assets that AI can interpret and use. Huawei said this could support core-system modernisation.
“Competition in financial AI is shifting from model capability to enterprise-wide AI system capability. Every financial institution should own its AI and keep the choice and evolution of AI in its own hands,” said Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance BU.
“Truly owning your AI is not about using a particular model or deploying a few AI applications. It means being able to choose independently, operate securely, replicate at scale, and continuously evolve your AI capabilities. Through open architecture, platforms, and compute, Huawei will work with customers and partners to bring AI at scale into core business operations and accelerate the transition to Agentic Finance,” Cao continued.
