India – IntelliDB Enterprise has partnered with Yotta Data Services to provide sovereign, AI-ready database infrastructure hosted on Yotta’s cloud and AI infrastructure in India.

The partnership is aimed at enterprises, government organisations, and regulated industries seeking to modernise database infrastructure and develop AI applications while keeping data within India and meeting regulatory requirements.

Under the agreement, the companies will offer fully managed database services hosted on Yotta’s sovereign cloud infrastructure. The service is intended to support mission-critical workloads while providing data sovereignty and compliance capabilities.

IntelliDB said its platform is designed to help organisations detect potential database issues, improve performance, and reduce manual administration. Its AI features are intended to keep human oversight in the process, with actions logged for review.

The company also provides capabilities for AI-based applications, including search and tools designed to identify and explain information held within an organisation’s databases.

IntelliDB said its platform supports compliance with standards including HIPAA, GDPR, SOC-1, SOC-2 and PCI-DSS, which it said can help organisations address data protection and security requirements.

The partnership comes as businesses increasingly look to incorporate AI into their applications, creating demand for database infrastructure that can support large-scale data processing while meeting security and regulatory requirements.

By combining IntelliDB’s database platform with Yotta’s sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure, the companies said organisations will be able to develop AI applications without transferring sensitive data outside India.

Customers will also be able to use IntelliDB’s migration toolkit to modernise existing database infrastructure on Yotta’s sovereign cloud.

“AI initiatives and scaling for any organisation is only as strong as the data infrastructure underneath it. This partnership brings our secure, AI-powered and intelligent database platform to more Indian enterprises and government organisations, hosted entirely within India,” said Gagandeep Singh, Co-Founder and CEO of IntelliDB Enterprise

“Together with Yotta, we are simplifying database operations while giving customers a secure, scalable, AI-powered platform. That combination of intelligence and control is what enterprises, and government organisations need to build modern data infrastructure,” he continued.

“The next wave of enterprise transformation will be driven by AI, and every AI application depends on trusted, intelligent and sovereign data. At Yotta, we are building India’s most comprehensive Sovereign AI ecosystem—from hyperscale data centres, sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure, to AI platforms and enterprise services,” said Sunil Gupta, Co-founder, Managing Director and CEO of Yotta Data Services.

“Our partnership with IntelliDB Enterprise strengthens this vision by adding an AI-ready database layer that enables organisations to build secure, scalable, and future-ready AI applications entirely on India’s sovereign digital infrastructure. Together, we are empowering enterprises and government organisations to innovate faster while maintaining complete control over their data,” Gupta continued.
