Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam – Asia Ingredients Group (AIG), a Vietnam-based provider of life science solutions and natural ingredients, has implemented Agentforce Manufacturing from Salesforce as part of its broader strategy to accelerate digital transformation and improve operational productivity.
The implementation introduces a unified digital platform designed to enhance AIG’s commercial operations. According to Salesforce, the system will serve as a single source of truth for business data, enabling real-time performance monitoring, improving forecasting accuracy, and supporting faster decision-making across the organisation.
The platform also connects key functions including Sales, Finance, and Supplier Management, allowing teams to collaborate within a shared system. By streamlining workflows and automating processes such as price approvals, product sampling, laboratory testing, and trial orders, the company aims to reduce manual workloads while improving response times and customer service.
An AIG representative said, “Agentforce Manufacturing stands out for its end-to-end capabilities, enabling teams to easily manage workflows, approvals, and automation. This solution contributes to AIG’s ability to scale its business while maintaining agility and a lean operating structure.”
Salesforce said the move reflects a broader shift toward digital infrastructure within Vietnam’s food processing industry.
“Accounting for nearly a fifth of the country’s industrial production, Vietnam’s food processing industry is a vital engine of the national economy. However, maintaining this scale requires a digital-first approach to navigate increasing supply chain complexity. As the trusted partner to the nation’s leading brands, we are proud to provide a unified platform that will allow AIG to modernise its commercial operations, streamline sales planning and drive scale and innovation across Vietnam’s vibrant food sector with AI,” said Quy Nguyen, regional vice president & country general manager of Salesforce Vietnam.
AIG operates across several segments in Vietnam’s food and ingredients sector. Through its subsidiary Asia Coconut Processing JSC, the group produces coconut-based products such as UHT coconut water, desiccated coconut, coconut milk powder, and coconut cream under the Vico Fresh brand.
The company also supplies fruit purées, fresh juices, and individually quick frozen fruits through Mekong Delta Gourmet. Meanwhile, Asia Specialty Ingredients produces essential oils and natural fragrances derived from ingredients such as cinnamon, star anise, and basil. Another subsidiary, Asia Hoa Son Corporation, focuses on cassava processing products including tapioca starch, dried cassava residue, and glucose syrup.
The digital transformation project is expected to improve operational efficiency and internal collaboration across these business units while helping the company scale operations and adapt to market changes. AIG said the initiative reflects its continued focus on technology-driven innovation and long-term sustainable growth.
