7-Eleven Philippines selects NCR Voyix for nationwide POS upgrade

Manila, Philippines – 7-Eleven Philippines has appointed NCR Voyix to modernise its point-of-sale (POS) and commerce systems across more than 4,500 outlets nationwide, marking the first collaboration between the two organisations.

The project will see the convenience retailer implement Voyix POS through the Voyix Commerce Platform as part of a broad technology overhaul aimed at strengthening store operations and customer engagement.

The retailer has embarked on a network-wide initiative to streamline shopfloor processes, reduce reliance on manual procedures and introduce new digital capabilities at scale.

After reviewing a range of providers, 7-Eleven Philippines selected NCR Voyix based on the adaptability of its platform, its capacity to deploy updates and enhancements consistently across thousands of sites, and its experience in supporting large-scale retail operations.

“Improving store operations, enhancing deployment efficiency and strengthening security and compliance are critical priorities for our business,” Richard Lee, president of 7‑Eleven Philippines, stated.

“NCR Voyix demonstrated a strong understanding of our needs and how its platform can help us introduce improvements at scale and serve customers better across our network.”

The commerce platform is designed to provide a single framework for essential in-store functions, enabling uniform software rollouts, improved system reliability and the introduction of additional features such as integrations with loyalty programmes, mobile applications and payment systems as consumer demands change.

Alongside the deployment of Voyix POS, 7-Eleven Philippines will utilise NCR Voyix’s professional and managed services to assist with implementation and ongoing support. The arrangement is intended to reinforce operational efficiency and enable continuous development across its nationwide estate.

“At this scale, retailers need a platform that helps them move faster with confidence, rolling out new capabilities predictably, keeping operations resilient and continually improving the experiences their customers deliver to shoppers,” Nick East, chief product officer of NCR Voyix, stated

“That is exactly what Voyix POS and the Voyix Commerce Platform are designed to enable. We are thrilled to welcome 7‑Eleven Philippines as a new customer.”

By adopting the platform, the retailer is establishing a scalable infrastructure capable of supporting future services, data insights and enhancements to overall store performance and customer experience.
