TikTok to offer access to curated selection of local, international brands with launch of ‘TikTok Shop Mall’

Singapore – TikTok Shop, the e-commerce platform of TikTok, has recently announced the launch of its exclusive, by-invite-only channel of brands’ flagship stores and authorised online retail outlets in Singapore: the TikTok Shop Mall. 

Through this launch, consumers can benefit from authentic products, a hassle-free 15-day return or refund policy, and complimentary shipping.

Sellers onboarded on TikTok Shop Mall will also feature a distinguished mall label on their pages, making it easy for buyers to recognise them as part of TikTok Shop Mall on the shop tab. 

The said label enhances their brand visibility and provides dedicated customer service throughout the shopping journey.

As part of the initiative, TikTok will further offer access to a curated selection of local and international brands, ensuring quality products and trust in its selected brands. 

While it aims to elevate customer’s shopping experience, it also aims to support local small and medium-sized businesses on the e-commerce platform.

Particularly, the TikTok Shop Mall empowers sellers with exclusive brand campaigns, offering special slots and resources during double-digit campaigns, increased visibility in the shop tab, and support for traffic exposure.

Speaking about the launch, Doven Yap, acquisition and partnerships lead at TikTok Shop Singapore, said, “TikTok Shop is committed to bolstering the growth of all small businesses and brands on the platform, and this has been taken a step further with the launch of TikTok Shop Mall here in Singapore.”

“The benefits go both ways: sellers now have an added stamp of authenticity on their products, and buyers can now easily identify and shop from their favourite brands with greater peace of mind and convenience to know that they can shop in comfort to get the best value for their purchases,” she continued.

“By creating this opportunity for brands to better market themselves and have more visibility, we hope that it will also create more avenues for entrepreneurs to sell more on TikTok Shop. Whether it is offline brick-and-mortar retailers exploring omni-channel strategies, SMBs selling online, or self-made entrepreneurs on our platform, TikTok Shop will continue to equip and empower these brands on their shoppertainment journey,” Doven explained. 

“The opportunities to be seen and heard are limitless, and we believe that TikTok Shop Mall will be the next step in the growth of these businesses,” she concluded.

Following its launch, shoppers can now explore a diverse range of brands offering essentials like athletic wear, cleaning products, household essentials, tableware, jewellery, and groceries.
