Singapore – Tencent Cloud, a cloud service provider, has recently unveiled its strategic collaboration with telecommunications firm Nokia to support Singaporean and Asia Pacific enterprises in their cloud and digital transformation.
This collaboration intends to enhance integration between cloud services and network infrastructure, allowing business enterprises, network infrastructure service providers, and data centres to upgrade and optimise their current IT environments.
Moreover, the said partnership will facilitate seamless networking support, enabling Tencent Cloud to empower enterprises and operators in hosting and managing cloud-based applications and workloads that demand highly efficient computing, storage, and infrastructure resources.
With this extensive experience in the field, Tencent Cloud is also positioned to provide high-impact cloud-based media and AI services. These services include media processing capabilities, real-time communication and hosting for streaming and video-on-demand, digital human creation, and more, to meet the increasing demands of enterprises for handling multi-format digital data and content.
Sang Xulei, vice president and head of the Asia Pacific regional business centre for network infrastructure at Nokia, said, “By combining Nokia’s network infrastructure capabilities with Tencent Cloud’s expertise, we are able to jointly offer end-to-end, optimised premium cloud services and networking solutions for the cloud and data centre industries in Singapore and throughout Asia.”
“Together, we provide significant additional value to enterprises in the region, supporting their digital transformation journeys,” added Xulei.
Bluefin Zhao, vice president at Tencent Cloud International, Asia Pacific, also said, “Enterprises with the foresight to adopt and harmonise cloud-based tools to actively pursue commercial results will be able to embrace the AI future; it gives them a strategic advantage over companies that still view cloud solutions as just an efficiency driver.”
