Singapore – Synpulse, a global consultancy serving the financial services industry, has appointed seasoned technology leader Jieke Pan as its new chief technology officer (CTO), strengthening its commitment to innovation and digital transformation.

Pan brings over 20 years of experience in digital transformation, product development, and engineering leadership. He is known for building collaborative, high-performing engineering cultures within the financial sector.

Over the past decade, he has served as CTO for Hexaware’s digital and software division across EMEA and APAC and has advised major clients in banking, insurance, and financial services in roles such as CTO Advisor and Enterprise Architect.

At Synpulse, Pan will lead the global engineering team at Synpulse8, overseeing the firm’s technology offerings. His focus will be on advancing PULSE8, Synpulse8’s orchestration platform, into a scalable solution for the financial industry.

PULSE8 integrates with legacy systems to unify data and create customised environments and will soon be enhanced with AI capabilities to better meet the evolving demands of the sector.

“I am excited to join Synpulse8 and lead it into the future. Together, we will bring PULSE8 to new heights, leveraging AI capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the financial services industry,” said Pan.

Pan’s appointment as CTO comes after the 2022 launch of Synpulse8, the firm’s technology unit. Since then, Synpulse8 has delivered solutions such as the Wealth Cockpit for a bank in Thailand, the OpenWealth API Standard for LGT, and a reinsurance underwriting workbench for MS Reinsurance. The unit focuses on building digital tools for the financial services sector.

“Jieke Pan’s appointment as CTO marks a significant milestone for Synpulse8. His extensive experience in digital transformation and engineering excellence will be instrumental in driving our solutions forward,” said Salomon Wettstein, managing partner at Synpulse and co-CEO of Synpulse8.

Raphael Bianchi, senior partner at Synpulse and co-CEO of Synpulse8, added, “With Jieke at the helm, we are poised to enhance our technology offerings and foster a culture of collaboration that will elevate our services in the financial sector.”
