Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Hong Kong-based intelligence and cybersecurity company S-RM has recently announced the inauguration of its new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This strategic expansion aims to provide timely and reliable intelligence and cybersecurity services to their growing number of clients in the Asia-Pacific region.

The company is spearheaded by Morgan Stark, who serves as the head of Asia, with responsibilities including overseeing and ensuring the delivery of all service lines of S-RM.

He is supported by a senior leadership team responsible for leading and managing the operations across the Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia offices, whose members are Anna Beare, Naresh Sakhrani, Kath Lau, and Cyrus Chiu.

Commenting on the initiative, Heyrick Bond Gunning, chief executive officer at S-RM, said, “We continue to experience growth in Asia and will continue to invest in our corporate intelligence and cyber security capabilities in the region. Malaysia is a vibrant centre of business and economic growth with a talented and multilingual workforce; it complements our twin foothold in Hong Kong and Singapore.”

“I’m immensely proud of our APAC team and equally thankful to our clients, who continue to entrust us with helping them manage their risks,” added Heyrick.

Morgan Stark, head of Asia at S-RM, also remarked, “The opening of the new office in Malaysia recognises growth opportunities for our business in Southeast Asia.”

“It is also critical to ensuring we are appropriately positioned to deliver against our vision for Asia, which includes, amongst other ambitions, to firstly provide a vertically integrated intelligence and investigations offering to our clients; and secondly meet increasing client demand for cyber security services and grow our business in a sustainable way without losing the essence of what made us good in the first place, namely the timely delivery of high-quality intelligence on which our clients can rely. Above all, this remains our commitment to S-RM’s clients,” explained Morgan.

The S-RM office in Kuala Lumpur is located at the CEO Suite in Q Sentral, KL Sentral, positioned at the intersection of the city’s residential, commercial, and industrial centres.

The said initiative also marks the company’s regional presence in three offices, including those in Hong Kong and Singapore.
