Singapore – Mimecast, a human risk management platform, has recently announced the appointment of David Sajoto as the company’s new vice president and general manager for Asia-Pacific and Japan.
In this new role, Sajoto boasts a distinguished leadership experience and renowned transformative impact on Mimecast and his deep understanding of the technology ecosystem.
He is also particularly committed to promoting innovation and business expansion, for which he was known for having a strong focus on customer needs and a passion for cultivating teamwork.
As a leader, Sajoto also played a pivotal role in guiding organisations through digital transformations and helping them navigate complex challenges in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
He was even recognised as ‘Business Leader of the Year’ at the Asia Pacific Business Awards 2023-2024 for exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the growth and development of businesses in the Asia Pacific region.
Before joining the company, he also became the senior vice president at Vectra AI, with responsibilities like spearheading operations in Asia Pacific and Japan. His career also includes leadership roles at top organisations, including ExtraHop, Ixia, BMC Software, Gigamon, Oracle, and Dynatrace.
With a strong academic foundation, Sajoto also earned a double degree in Computer Science and Engineering and a Master’s in Business Systems from Monash University.
