Singapore – Milk & Honey, a public relations and communications services firm, has recently announced the launch of its new technology division, NU. This initiative is designed to advance the agency’s offerings and progress client objectives while also ensuring the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

As a new division, NU will focus on harnessing the agency’s internal expertise and external specialist knowledge to support the adoption of hybrid human/AI technology. In particular, it is set to oversee the company’s AI roadmap, a strategy designed to identify, assess, and adopt the technologies that bring benefits to internal teams and client objectives.

Furthermore, it will also be responsible for leading Milk & Honey’s integrated new technology offering, providing internal and client training, and establishing strategic partnerships to extend and augment the agency’s communications services.

Both initiatives will be guided by an AI Ethical Steering Group to ensure that new technology aligns with the agency’s values and principles.

Along with this, the agency has also announced its recent partnership with AI platform IntelliAIM and business and consulting services firm Lazy Consulting. These partnerships bring together PR, AI platforms, and AI business development capabilities, creating a single tool to drive the implementation of comprehensive, agile, effective, and responsible AI technologies for purpose-driven organisations.

Speaking about the endeavour, Sanjiv Winayak, head of AI at Milk & Honey PR, said, “AI offers tremendous business potential but is also a cause for business concern. NU has been chosen to reflect Milk & Honey’s belief in a hybrid human/AI future. It’s a future where technology aids and enhances human capabilities rather than replaces them.

“We understand that no matter how impressive the technology, human engagement demands human understanding—and this tenet lies at the heart of NU and our AI roadmap,” he further added.

Manuel Hüttl, chief executive officer, Germany, at Milk & Honey PR, also said, “We recognise the game-changing power of AI in reshaping the comms industry. NU will be a new haven for innovation, creative collaboration, and sustainable wellbeing to inspire and guide responsible global change in PR.”

The recently established NU division will be led by Sanjiv Winayak as the head of AI. He will report to Milk & Honey Germany CEO Manuel Hüttl, who will oversee the division.
