JCB introduces additional payment options to Asia with App Store, Apple Services support

Tokyo, Japan – JCB International, the global operations arm of JCB Co., Ltd., has recently announced the availability of JCB cards as a payment method for the App Store and Apple Services in Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.

According to the firm, customers can now make purchases across Apple platforms including Apple Music, Apple TV app, iTunes, and iCloud. It further ensures that cardmembers benefit from smooth, secure, and efficient transactions when using their Apple devices.

Said expansion underscores the company’s commitment to delivering convenient and high-quality payment solutions for its growing card cardmembers across Asia.

At the same time, it reinforces their ongoing efforts to improve customer experiences and make access to digital content and services more convenient than ever.

Yoshiki Kaneko, president and CEO at JCB International Co., Ltd., said, “We are thrilled to offer a seamless and secure payment experience for our customers in countries and territories across Asia who purchase Apple Services, as well as apps and games from the App Store.”
