Philippines –  GCash has expanded its global remittance capabilities by partnering with PERA HUB, an Aboitiz-affiliated retail network. This collaboration enables convenient cash-in transactions through the GCash app.

This partnership allows GCash customers to use PERA HUB’s network of remittance partners, which includes Remitly, IntelExpress, InstantCash, Ayannah, and shortly, Uniteller. It also gives GCash users direct access to claiming remittances. Because of the convenience of use, customers can stop waiting in line at traditional remittance centres and switching between apps.

The partnership between GCash and PERA HUB makes remittance services more accessible, giving overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) a convenient way to support their families. This program advances financial inclusion and improves transactions throughout the Philippines.

Speaking about the expansion, Ren-Ren Reyes, president and CEO of G-Xchange Inc., said, “Through this partnership, millions of Filipinos around the world can benefit from easier and more affordable remittance services, ensuring they can always send money back home.”
