Singapore – Delinea has launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for its Fastpath access governance solution, enabling finance, IT, audit and compliance teams to query access governance data through AI assistants.
The new Delinea Fastpath MCP Server allows users to ask natural-language questions about access risks, access reviews and audit readiness across connected applications. It also provides remediation options, with the aim of helping organisations identify significant risks and reduce the time spent preparing for audits.
The capability connects AI assistants to live Fastpath data without requiring data migration. Delinea said responses reflect the current state of an organisation’s integrated applications, including segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts that can arise when users have access to incompatible roles or functions.
“Our customers spend too much of their time turning access data into decisions,” said Jason Mitchell, EVP, Product & Technology at Delinea.
“Fastpath MCP Server gives that time back. Finance teams and business application owners can ask a question in their own words and get a clear, prioritised answer they can act on, grounded in the same data their auditors already rely on,” Mitchell continued.
The server provides cross-application visibility across more than 100 connected cloud and on-premises applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce and Workday. Users can query information about identities, roles, access risks, controls and access reviews across these systems.
Delinea said more than 30 native connections provide risk insights down to individual securable objects. The connections use application-specific SoD and sensitive-access rulesets developed by audit experts, drawing on the COSO framework and ISACA remediation best practices.
The capability is designed to help teams identify unresolved access reviews, outstanding reviewer tasks and SoD risks without mitigating controls. Rather than manually exporting and reconciling spreadsheets, users can query the information and identify issues that require attention.
“Getting answers out of our access data used to mean building Excel lookups and stitching data points together by hand,” said Neil Poynton, Director of ERP at Chromalox.
“With Fastpath MCP Server, we’ll be able to ask a question in plain language and pull together the information held in Delinea Fastpath in a fraction of the time. It’s an exciting addition to our solution,” Poynton continued.
Fastpath is independently audited under SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2. Delinea said audit and consulting firms use its reports to assess IT general controls and access controls supporting financial reporting.
The MCP Server is read-only and operates within each user’s existing permissions. This means connected AI assistants can retrieve governed access data but cannot make changes within Fastpath, according to Delinea.
