Sydney, Australia – IT distribution firm Cloud Ready Solutions has recently announced a new distribution deal with software development firm StoneFly, Inc., encompassing regions of Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
This strategic agreement enables Cloud Ready Solutions to distribute StoneFly’s storage solutions, which include the recently available Green Petabyte Archive Storage. The said move is designed to address the increasing demands for scalable, eco-friendly, and cost-effective data archiving.
In particular, its eco-friendly design, built with energy-efficient components, is aimed at minimising power consumption and environmental footprint. It can also easily expand storage capacity to accommodate future data growth without compromising performance.
Furthermore, it also provides a high-density storage solution at a competitive price point and ensures security by physically isolating stored data from network access. This isolation protects against cyber threats and ransomware attacks, ensuring an additional layer of security.
Lastly, it guarantees that once data is written, it cannot be altered or deleted, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Commenting about the initiative, Nicholas Gee, owner at Cloud Ready Solutions, said, “We are thrilled to partner with StoneFly and bring their cutting-edge storage solutions to our market. Anyone who has visited a data centre is aware of the immense amount of power consumed, heat generated, and the necessary air conditioning required to maintain such an environment.”
“The GPA 4.0 system dramatically reduces these factors by actively powering down while not in use, aligning with our mission to provide eco-friendly and cost-effective solutions. The addition of airgapped and immutable storage features ensures our clients can safeguard their critical data against evolving cyber threats,” he further explained.
