Singapore – Clio has appointed Julian Uebergang as general manager for enterprise business in the APAC region, tasking him with overseeing growth among large law firms and complex legal organisations. The role centres on expanding Clio’s enterprise presence across APAC as demand increases for scalable technology tailored to sophisticated legal operations.
In this position, Julian is responsible for advancing an integrated AI platform designed to connect legal research, operational management, and analytical workflows.
By overseeing teams spanning customer success and partner development, he will focus on embedding advanced automation and AI-driven insights into firm-wide processes to reduce administrative overheads and enable lawyers to concentrate on higher-value work and client delivery.
“My focus is on shaping a strategic direction that truly resonates with the complexities of the APAC enterprise market,” Julian commented.
“By working in lockstep with our product teams, we are delivering scalable solutions that bridge the gap between the business of law and the practice of law, ensuring large firms have the tools necessary to modernise and transform their operations and drive efficiency at every level.”
Julian brings more than 25 years of experience across the SaaS and PaaS sectors, with extensive exposure to international growth and organisational transformation. Prior to joining Clio, he was chief executive officer of Neota Logic Inc., where he led the shift towards cloud-based solutions and guided the company through a period of strategic change.
His career also includes founding and exiting two technology businesses, holding a senior management role at Australia Post where he launched its first digital product, leading global client services at Epiq Systems, and serving as past president of the Australian Legal Technology Association.
The appointment comes amid accelerating adoption of AI across APAC’s legal sector, as firms seek to modernise operations and manage increasing complexity. Under Julian’s leadership, Clio’s enterprise division is expected to focus on delivering scalable solutions that align legal practice with business operations, supporting large firms as they pursue efficiency, knowledge management and long-term transformation.
