Singapore – Melbourne-based gifting e-commerce company Limitless Technology Group has selected financial technology platform Adyen to consolidate its payment infrastructure across its portfolio of brands and six markets.

The group operates brands including Flower Chimp, CakeRush, Bloomeroo, LVLY and Happy Bunch. It manages online storefronts, order fulfilment and business data through a centralised technology platform.

The company said all five brands now use Adyen’s direct local acquiring services in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore, alongside cross-border transactions for the Philippines and Indonesia.

Limitless Technology said it brought more than 10 online stores live across four markets within one week as part of the rollout. The company has also consolidated four payment gateways into one, allowing it to standardise payment reporting across its markets and brands and simplify reconciliation.

“Gifting is ultimately about the connection between people, and technology should make that connection easier, not more complicated,” said Niklas Frassa, CEO and Co-founder of Limitless Technology Group.

“Payments are a fundamental part of that experience, and Adyen helps us ensure this happens smoothly behind the scenes, so our brands can focus on the moments they are helping customers create,” Frassa continued.

The company said payment performance is particularly important during peak gifting periods, including Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, when transaction volumes can increase significantly.

Adyen’s native checkout solution is being used by Limitless Technology to support local payment methods without redirecting customers to another page.

According to Adyen’s report, 20% of Singaporeans abandon a purchase when they encounter a payment error, with security or trust concerns among the reasons cited.

As the group expands its brand portfolio and geographical presence, it said its payment infrastructure also needs to accommodate differences in customer preferences across markets.

Adyen said its platform provides Limitless Technology with payment data that can be used to support business decisions, including understanding customers’ preferred card mix for card-linked offers.

“As businesses expand across channels and regional markets, managing payment infrastructure can quickly become complex,” said Ben Wong, General Manager for Southeast Asia and Hong Kong at Adyen.

“By consolidating their payment operations onto a single platform, Limitless Technology can streamline back-end complexity and make smarter, data-led decisions to scale with confidence,” Wong continued.
