Singapore – Adobe, a multinational software company, has recently launched its latest mobile application for Android and iOS in beta, introducing new editing capabilities powered by Firefly generative AI models directly into mobile workflows.

This new application, named Adobe Express, offers quick and simple video editing features, making content creation on various social media platforms more accessible and easier for anyone.

Among its key features are a text-to-image feature that provides quick creation of a project’s new look through the instant generation of new images. A generative fill that enables insert, remove, or replace people, objects, and more simple text prompts.

At the same time, the app includes a text effect feature that uses generative AI to develop headlines, copy, and messages that pop with text stylings.

Users can also begin producing their own video content through the app’s video templates. They can further take advantage of features such as video timeline, layer timing, and 4K video support to craft social-first videos from any location easily.

On the other hand, creative professionals can accelerate their mobile content creation by using brand kits and collaboration through real-time co-editing and review capabilities.

The app also extends its creative cloud ability to mobile devices. Members of this cloud can easily access, work on, and edit creative assets from Photoshop and Illustrator directly within Adobe Express. They can also add linked files that sync in Adobe Express as they edit in creative cloud apps.

Commenting on the recent launch, Govind Balakrishnan, senior vice president, Adobe Express and digital media services at Adobe, said, “Millions of users around the world are turning to Adobe Express to create more content than ever before—more than doubling the number of creations ever made in just the last year. The new Adobe Express mobile app puts Firefly—our generative AI models—front and centre, giving users unprecedented ways to create videos, designs, photos, and images that stand out.”

Along with these features, Adobe Express also involves content credentials on assets created using features powered by Adobe Firefly. This function indicates that generative AI was used, bringing more trust and transparency to digital content. It is also powered by open-source technology from the coalition for content provenance and authenticity.
