Mumbai, India – Deloitte India has expanded its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to provide AI-enabled cybersecurity services for enterprises and public sector organisations in India.
Under the expanded arrangement, Deloitte India will act as a Premier Partner, reseller, and MSSP for Google Cloud, supporting organisations in strengthening cyber risk management and security operations.
The collaboration combines Deloitte’s global cybersecurity advisory and implementation capabilities with Google Cloud’s AI-driven security technologies. It is designed to help organisations respond to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats while ensuring that security deployments align with Indian regulatory and compliance requirements.
“In an era where digital trust is the currency of businesses, our alliance with Google Cloud marks a significant milestone for the Indian market,” Tarun Kaura, partner of Deloitte India, stated.
“By combining Deloitte’s deep industry knowledge and cybersecurity legacy with Google Cloud’s pioneering technology, we are building a resilient digital infrastructure for India.”
As part of the partnership, Deloitte India will assist clients in modernising and operating SOCs, migrating legacy systems to cloud environments and adopting SaaS models. These efforts aim to improve threat detection and response, support compliance with data protection obligations and reduce reliance on large in-house security teams.
The partnership addresses key challenges facing organisations in India, including AI-enabled threats, evolving data localisation and regulatory requirements, skills shortages in cybersecurity, and fragmented security toolsets. A cloud-native, integrated security operations approach is intended to improve visibility, consolidate security data and deliver managed services at scale.
“As a Premier Partner and MSSP, Deloitte is well-positioned to operationalise our AI-first security platform for Indian enterprises,” Sandeep Patil, head of security partners & managed services at Google Cloud, Asia Pacific and Japan, commented.
“Together, we are committed to democratising access to nation-state grade security capabilities for organisations across the region.”
The collaboration will focus on deploying and managing core Google Cloud security capabilities, including Google Security Operations for large-scale threat detection and response, Google Cloud Cybershield for government and critical infrastructure cyber defence, and Google Threat Intelligence for proactive threat identification using global intelligence sources.
While Deloitte and Google Cloud maintain a global security partnership, this expansion is specifically focused on the Indian market. It targets sectors such as banking and financial services, energy and industrials, manufacturing, consumer businesses and government, reflecting the growing importance of data sovereignty and locally tailored cyber defence strategies.
The partnership also aims to help organisations align security operations with regulatory and policy expectations, including requirements set by Indian authorities and applicable data protection frameworks. Operationally, the collaboration is intended to shift security from a reactive to a more proactive model by using AI and automation to reduce investigation times and improve overall cyber resilience.
