Singapore – Adyen, a financial technology services platform, has recently announced that it has partnered with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) provider Eats365, with the goal of simplifying operations for Eats365 merchants and users across its supported regions.
As part of the collaboration, Eats365’s integrated payment solution, ‘365pay’, now enables merchants to seamlessly access Adyen’s payment offerings. Said integration, powered by Adyen for Platforms, is aimed at enhancing the entire process from ordering to payment across all channels.
It also enables 365pay to extend its payment support to all restaurant payment flows, regardless of online and offline transactions. This enhancement offers the flexibility that traditional payment gateways often lack, catering to the diverse needs of the industry.
In addition, this new service strengthens Eats365’s value proposition by enhancing operational efficiency for merchants. It particularly simplifies daily workflows and ensures seamless payment processes whether transactions occur at the cashier in traditional settings, through online order applications, or through self-service kiosks.
A significant aspect of the partnership includes the introduction of a consolidated financial reporting system for F&B establishments. Through this, detailed transaction reports within the Eats365 ecosystem now allow businesses to track payment costs and charges per transaction, monitor bank settlement progress, and simplify reconciliation processes.
The alliance further aims to optimise the traditionally cumbersome Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding process through a digitalised approach. With the support of Adyen, Eats365 merchants can now onboard faster and start accepting payments sooner, which is especially beneficial for new outlets.
Meanwhile, F&B businesses can also enter new markets seamlessly using Adyen’s global contract model and seamless integration with 365pay. This setup enables them to accept locally preferred payment methods without the need for extra integrations.
Wilson Lee, founder and chief executive officer at Eats365, said, “Eats365’s mission has always been to bridge operational gaps in F&B businesses with innovative, user-centric technologies. With the launch of 365pay in 2024, Eats365 extended its reach, enabling finance managers to benefit from the system’s technology. The integration with Adyen streamlines payment operations and ensures a secure, seamless experience for customers.”
Ben Wong, general manager, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong at Adyen, also shared, “We’re excited to partner with Eats365 to bring payments innovation to the F&B sector, helping businesses overcome operational and manpower challenges inherent to the industry and ultimately operate more nimbly in both front and back of house settings.”
Merchants in Singapore and Hong Kong are the first to adopt 365pay, with a wider launch planned across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.
