India – Acevector, a tech-enabled retail company, has recently announced the latest additions to its leadership team in a move to strengthen the company’s operations.

Included in the recent appointments are Achint Setia, who will serve as the new chief executive officer of its e-commerce platform Snapdeal, and Himanshu Chakrawarti, who will assume the chief executive officer role at Acevector’s subsidiary Stellaro Brands.

Setia boasts almost two decades of experience in establishing new businesses, marketing, strategy, M&A, and technology. This includes e-commerce, media, telecom, and government services.

Before joining the company, he served as the chief revenue and marketing officer at Zalora Group in Singapore. He also held several leadership roles at Myntra, Viacom18, McKinsey & Co., and Microsoft.

Setia earned his MBA in Strategy and Finance at the Indian School of Business (ISB) and was a graduate of the Stanford GSB LEAD program in Corporate Innovation.

Meanwhile, Chakrawarti will now dedicate his efforts to accelerating the growth of Stellaro after successfully leading both Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands for the last three years. He is set to innovate further in this new role alongside over three decades of extensive retail experience and in-depth understanding of the business of building brands at leading companies such as Trent, Arvind, and Landmark Group.

Commenting about the appointment, Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, co-founders of AceVector (the holding company of Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands), said, “We are delighted with the two executive appointments that aim to accelerate further the progress in Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands.”

They further continued, “Under Himanshu’s leadership, we have seen remarkable progress across Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands, and this transition allows the group to benefit from his experiences by focusing on Stellaro’s growth.”

“Achint’s extensive experience in e-commerce, media, technology, and brand building will add great value to his role as the CEO of Snapdeal and will be instrumental in supporting the business on its growth trajectory. We wish both Achint and Himanshu great success in their new roles,” the two added.
