Bengaluru, India – Infosys, a digital services and consulting firm, has recently entered into a strategic alliance with intralogistics solutions provider Kardex, with the goal of transforming the company’s business operations using SAP S/4HANA.
In this initiative, the company will assist Kardex in streamlining its ERP system in more than 30 countries and boost operational efficiency and scalability. This will be achieved by employing Infosys Cobalt, a suite of services, solutions, and platforms for enterprises to accelerate their cloud journey.
Moreover, Kardex selected Infosys based on its extensive experience with large-scale digital transformation projects using SAP S/4HANA and its deep expertise in the manufacturing and logistics sectors. Infosys will also work with Kardex in harmonising and standardising its business processes, driving productivity, flexibility, and improved decision-making.
Apart from these efforts, the company will further leverage its own tools in ensuring seamless transfer of data. This tool includes Infosys Data Services Suite (iDSS), a data management solution that helps in end-to-end data life cycle automation.
Part of this collaboration also aims to develop a centralised system for Kardex, equipping them with real-time insights, enhanced customer experience, and a strong foundation for growth.
Thomas Reist, chief financial officer at Kardex, said, “Our mission is to empower our customers to optimise their intralogistics operations, enhancing efficiency, agility, and overall success. By continually evolving our solutions and adapting to changing market demands, we aim to be the trusted partner of choice for companies seeking to boost their productivity.”

Infosys is delighted to join forces with Kardex in this journey and help them leverage cutting-edge technologies like SAP S/4HANA to optimise their supply chain, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation.”
