Singapore – HCLTech, an IT services and consulting firm, has recently announced the development of its new AI/Cloud Native Lab in Singapore, marking their fifth network across the globe. This strategic initiative is set to open by 2025.
Supported by EDB, the lab will assist in accelerating AI efforts for regional enterprises through the company’s extensive suite of integrated AI and GenAI solutions, such as AI Force and AI Foundry. It will also collaborate with Nanyang Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic to foster knowledge sharing and skill development for young talent and mid-career individuals in AI.
At a recent event, HCLTech’s chairperson, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, further revealed a significant announcement with the Ministry of Digital Development and Information of Singapore and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). This event was attended by senior members of the academic community from Nanyang Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic.
Vijay Guntur, chief technology officer and head of ecosystems at HCLTech, said, “Our Labs are a conducive starting point for enterprises that want to embark on a collaborative journey to develop blueprints for AI and GenAI-led efficiencies, new business capabilities, skilling roadmaps, and overall organisational competitive advantage with a pragmatic approach.”
