Malaysia – Google Malaysia has unveiled the recent launch of a new online store, bringing these products to be introduced in the country for the first time.
This strategic move introduces a range of products to local consumers, including the Pixel 9 series, Pixel Watch 3 smartwatches, and Pixel Buds Pro 2, among others.
In this launch, the web store will primarily operate as a catalogue for its locally available devices, without offering users the ability to purchase directly from the site.
To facilitate purchase, the company has also included a list of local retailers on every product page, directing users to distributors such as CelcomDigi, Maxis, Senheng/SenQ, and Urban Republic. These distributors all confirmed last week that they are bringing the Pixel 9 series to Malaysia.
In addition, links to the recently discovered Google Pixel stores on Shopee and Lazada are also included in the list, despite both stores being empty at the time of writing. These platforms will further soon enable customers to purchase Pixel products directly from Google.
Currently, Google Malaysia’s online store has not disclosed local pricing or availability for its products, and the links to authorised retailers are yet to be activated.
