Manila, Philippines – Converge ICT Solutions, a PH-based fibre broadband and technology provider, has recently forged a strategic partnership with Naver Cloud through the signing of a memorandum of agreement on Thursday, May 9. This strategic alliance builds on both companies’ commitment to explore opportunities aimed at serving the expanding cloud market in the Philippines.
As part of the agreement, the two are set to discuss and establish potential collaborations, using Naver Cloud’s expertise in providing innovative cloud solutions tailored specifically for the needs of its Filipino customers.
The said company is also aiming to enhance an all-round cooperation for the digital transformation initiatives in the country with its technology capabilities related to smart cities and business capabilities. This includes a large language model, sovereign cloud, WORKS (a B2B communication tool), and Whale (a browser-based web service integration platform).
Talking about the alliance, Dennis Uy, chief executive officer and co-founder at Converge ICT Solutions Inc., said, “Our continuous leap to digital calls for advanced solutions that would support a technology-enabled lifestyle in a robust digital environment. This strategic partnership was established following a personal visit by Naver Cloud executives to collaborate with Converge. Among the individuals also present during the signing, aside from CEO Kim, was the company’s chief technology officer, Yong-Jae Kwak.
