Singapore – Tenable is integrating Anthropic’s Claude Mythos 5 into its Tenable One Exposure Management Platform, with the technology set to support security teams in analysing attack paths and identifying potential remediation actions.

The integration will initially be used for Tenable One Adversary View, a planned capability that uses Claude Mythos 5 to help security teams identify attack paths across their environments and assess ways to disrupt them.

Tenable said the move expands its existing work with Anthropic through Project Glasswing. The collaboration previously focused on securing Tenable’s code and infrastructure and will now extend to the use of Claude Mythos 5 within the Tenable One platform.

Adversary View is expected to become available to initial customers in September, with further capabilities planned for the fourth quarter and beyond.

Security teams often have access to large volumes of information about their IT environments, but identifying how individual vulnerabilities and exposures can combine to form an attack path can be more difficult. Adversary View is designed to analyse this information and identify routes an attacker could potentially take from an initial access point to critical systems.

“Bringing Claude Mythos 5 into Tenable One marks an important milestone for Tenable and our customers,” said Eric Doerr, Chief Product Officer at Tenable.

“By combining some of the world’s most advanced cyber reasoning with the breadth and depth of Tenable’s exposure intelligence, we can tackle complex security problems in entirely new ways.

Adversary View is the first planned innovation to emerge from this work, helping customers see their environments as an attacker would and identify the actions that can reduce risk most effectively. And it is just the beginning,” he continued.

Adversary View will complement Tenable One’s existing exposure prioritisation and attack path analysis capabilities. It will use exposure data already collected by Tenable to reconstruct potential routes through an environment, showing the evidence associated with each step.

The capability will also guide remediation actions that could disrupt identified attack paths. Tenable said the integration is intended to support security teams as they assess complex relationships between exposures and prioritise actions based on potential risk.

The companies plan to introduce additional AI-powered capabilities through the expanded collaboration, although further details have not yet been disclosed.
