Singapore – Accely has appointed Michael Lim as Director of Strategy & Growth for Singapore and Southeast Asia, with responsibility for the company’s commercial strategy across the region.
Lim will oversee activities spanning market entry, customer relationships and account growth, as Accely seeks to expand its presence across Southeast Asia.
He brings experience in SAP cloud ERP sales and partner leadership across Asia Pacific, including work with organisations in the retail, FMCG and manufacturing sectors. In his new role, Lim will focus on go-to-market planning, customer and SAP relationships, and developing accounts in priority industries.
The appointment comes as enterprises across Southeast Asia continue moving core enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to the cloud, while also adopting AI and automation initiatives alongside these migrations.
“Michael’s appointment further strengthens our leadership capabilities in Southeast Asia,” said Nilesh Shah, CEO of Accely Group.
“His focus will help us deepen customer and partner relationships, identify new growth opportunities and bring Accely’s transformation capabilities closer to organisations across the region,” Shah continued.
“Michael’s deep industry expertise, strategic vision, and customer-first approach makes him the perfect fit to lead our growth engine. We are thrilled to welcome him to the leadership team as we enter our next chapter of expansion,” said Sameer Satpute, CEO, Singapore & Southeast Asia of Accely Pte. Ltd.
“Companies here have stopped debating whether to move to cloud ERP. The harder question is how to get there without stalling the business,” said Michael Lim, Director of Strategy & Growth for Singapore and Southeast Asia, of Accely Pte. Ltd.
“I have spent my career building technology businesses in Asian markets, and the deciding factor is always execution. Accely can put delivery behind the strategy,” Lim continued.
In his new position, Lim will work with Accely’s global and regional leadership teams on go-to-market planning, partnerships and account growth across Southeast Asia.
His remit will cover areas including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, SuccessFactors, Customer Experience, analytics, artificial intelligence, automation and application services.
Accely said the appointment reinforces its focus on Singapore as a strategic market and Southeast Asia as a growth region.
